– Idioms là gì?

Thành ngữ tiếng Anh (Idioms) được cấu tạo bằng nhiều từ khác nhau tạo thành một câu nhưng không mang nghĩa đen của nó. Idiom được người bản ngữ sử dụng rất nhiều trong văn nói và viết, vì vậy hiểu được ý nghĩa của Idiom sẽ giúp các bạn sử dụng Tiếng Anh hiệu quả hơn rất nhiều.

– Cách học Idioms hiệu quả

+ Không nên học quá nhiều thành ngữ trong một thời gian ngăn vì hằng ngày bạn phải tiếp nhận vô số thông tin, bắt buộc não bộ đôi khi “phản kháng” bằng cách từ chối ghi nhớ nhiều thông tin cùng một lúc. Vì vậy chỉ cần mỗi tuần học 1 tới 3 Idiom là thích hợp nhất

+ Học Idiom trong ngữ cảnh cụ thể  sẽ giúp bạn khó quên hơn.

Ví dụ: Khi học “know something like the back of one’s hand” (Biết điều gì đó rõ như lòng bàn tay) ta học trong ngữ cảnh sau sẽ dễ nhớ và nhớ lâu hơn
